According to business traveller Africa, South African low-cost airline Kulula is launching ‘Stretch Zone’ seating. In addition to its standard seat types available for pre-purchase, passengers can now opt for more legroom.

Previously savvy Kulula travellers had been pre-booking exit row seats to secure extra legroom, and now passengers may further benefit from a refurbishment of the airline’s seats to include the Stretch Zone. These seats will increase legroom per individual seat by three to four inches, and have been introduced on all Kulula aircraft.

Stretch Zone seats can be found in front of and behind the over-wing emergency exit rows and come with added legroom for comfort. Customers wishing to pre-purchase seats with extra legroom can do so at the time of booking.
