African Aerospace Launches Aviation Africa 2015 Event

African Aerospace is launching the first ever AVIATION AFRICA 2015 a two day summit and exhibition. The event will take place in Dubai, UAE on 10-11 May 2015.

This event will help unlock Africa’s aviation potential. Industry and government leaders from Africa and the Middle East will work together to make aviation an even more integral part of Africa’s economic development and integration. Safety, regional cooperation and global standards for infrastructure funding will be addressed as key issues.

IATA chief executive Tony Tyler has described this as the ‘century of African Aviation’ as the continent takes steps to achieve its growth potential. Its nearest neighbour, the Middle East, has achieved such momentous growth over the past two decades.

These two world regions have a rich shared history. There have been centuries of trade and shared experience, which continues to this day.

AVIATION AFRICA 2015 aims to bring together government and civil aviation authorities; senior airline management; business aviation operators and specialists; financial and industry consultants; airport management and service company management and leaders from maintenance, training and flight support.

The conference and exhibition takes place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, the home of the ‘open skies’, the venue offers easy access to nationals of African countries.

The event is designed to be a meeting place for African aviation business and Middle East business. It creates networking opportunities that can work both ways for the development of markets, access to finance; and the growth of business opportunity.

The conference programme will be managed and Chaired by Alan Peaford Editor in Chief, Arabian Aerospace & African Aerospace and the main topics will include:

  • Open Skies – Liberalisation & Reducing bureaucracy

  • Human Factors & Human Capital – Recruitment & Retention factors

  • Air Traffic Management – the latest technologies for Africa’s airspace

  • Finance – Opportunities for investment and collaboration

  • MRO – sourcing engineering & technical support

  • Business Aviation – Improving accessibility

  • Training

There will be case studies, workshops and forums to debate and discuss the opportunities and issues facing African Aviation today.

The associated exhibition will feature over 30 companies showcasing the latest technologies and services to help develop and invest in the future of the industry in Africa.

AVIATION AFRICA 2015 will provide connectivity, it’s about people doing business, products moving to new markets, investment and new opportunities being discussed and discovered. An exciting new event in a growing Middle East & African region.

Thank you for sharing such a detailed review about ethiopian airlines in your post. I am an avid traveller and keep reading flight reviews to assess the options available. Your review particularly drew my attention because you have shared so many pictures to capture every aspect of the flight experience. It is a very nice effort.

I am really tempted to book the next ethiopian airlines ticket and relive your journey. The pictures shared with the post also reflect that you truly enjoyed the travel. Great post! I also like the fact that you have covered nuances about the food and entertainment service through the pictures. It helps people know what to expect on their travel by this airline.
